Lessons Registration Form

Pricing and Choices

Announcements from most of the schools have finally come in and it looks like online school is the most likely outcome of Phase 2 COVID precautions. That being said, we have a plan to help you all out.
Lessons this year are going to be slightly different.  We will be offering lessons 1-5pm Monday through Thursday. The change is that your child is welcome to stay all 4 hours for social/emotional learning. Our plan is to have groups of 5 students riding together, hanging together, and learning together.  We will work with you to find a day/time that works for your family and do our best to help you all take a break for work, pleasure, or alone time! Plus, you can use this leverage to have your child get their schoolwork done before 1pm!
Weekly Lessons are offered at Short Acres Farm for students of all ages and skill levels in both English and Western. We schedule classes both after school and during the day.

Costs will be as follows:

  • $100/mo for one lesson every other week (includes 8 hours of barn time/mo)
  • $200/mo for one lesson a week (includes 16 hours of barn time/mo)
  • $400/mo for two lessons a week (includes 32 hours of barn time/mo)

What It’s like

Whether this is your first time on a horse or your return to riding, we work to the individual abilities of our clients. By maintaining small class sizes, we have the flexibility to integrate specific lesson objectives into the collective spirits of the class. At Short Acres, classmates and families can often be heard cheering on another student as they finally master a new skill or overcome a longtime fear. Our greatest achievement is your personal triumph!
